In the modern industrial field, sealing technology is essential to ensure the safe and stable operation of equipment. Among them, as a high-performance sealing material, the tooth type gasket has a unique design and flexible sealing layer selection, which enables it to show sealing performance in many industrial scenarios. It is particularly worth mentioning that the tooth type gasket can choose flexible graphite, PTFE, asbestos-free board or other soft metal as the sealing layer according to different media. This flexible and changeable design greatly avoids direct contact between metal and metal, thereby significantly reducing the risk of wear and leakage.

The tooth type gasket processes concentric grooves on both sides of the metal stainless steel flat gasket to form a special tooth type structure. This structure not only increases the contact area of the sealing surface, but also enables the gasket to distribute the force more evenly when under pressure, thereby improving the sealing effect.

However, relying solely on this tooth type structure is not enough to cope with all industrial scenarios. In practical applications, factors such as the nature, temperature, and pressure of the medium will have an important impact on the sealing performance. Therefore, the tooth type gasket has made careful designs in the selection of the sealing layer. It can choose flexible graphite, PTFE, asbestos-free board or other soft metal as the sealing layer according to different media.

Flexible graphite is a sealing material with high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. It can maintain stable performance under high temperature and high pressure environment, and has good self-lubricating property, which can reduce friction and wear between metals. Therefore, when the medium is high temperature and highly corrosive liquid or gas, it is an ideal choice to choose flexible graphite as the sealing layer.

PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) is a sealing material with chemical corrosion resistance. It can resist the erosion of almost all strong acids, strong alkalis and organic solvents, so it is particularly suitable for equipment handling corrosive media. PTFE also has a very low friction coefficient and good wear resistance, which can significantly reduce the wear and leakage risk of the sealing surface.

Asbestos-free board is an environmentally friendly sealing material. It does not contain asbestos, is harmless to the human body, and has good high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. Asbestos-free board also has good elasticity and resilience, can adapt to the slight deformation of the sealing surface, and maintain stable sealing performance.

In addition to the above common sealing layer materials, toothed gaskets can also choose other soft metals as sealing layers according to specific needs. These soft metals usually have good ductility and plasticity, and can fill the tiny gaps of the sealing surface when under pressure, further improving the sealing performance.

The toothed gasket achieves adaptability and optimization for different media by selecting sealing layers of different materials. This flexible and changeable design not only improves the sealing performance, but also reduces the risk of wear and leakage. In the modern industrial field, toothed gaskets have become an indispensable sealing material, providing a solid guarantee for the stable operation of various equipment.
